Sometimes you just need Mexican food and the salsa, Baja Cantina in White Sands fills that need very nicely. They have homemade tortillas and salsa that is spicy but easy to handle. The menu ranges from enchiladas to tacos to chimichangas and into a few Thai dishes (great if your date does not want refried beans). Portions are good and the interior has a good feel for “coming from Mexico!”. But unlike some places that go overboard with fake piñatas and such… Baja Cafe does not do that and so the decor is much more Mexican-subtle…
The dishes are made fresh and the service is very attentive, great for a change and when you need some tortillas and rich Mexican food!
