Situated at the very south end of Koh Chang on the west side Grand Lagoona is the largest resort on Koh Chang. Being located where they are there are some pluses and minuses that either will appeal or not to the travelers who come here. First being quite remote and with no shuttle service you should wrangle up your own transport and or plan on staying here for a break.
Grand lagoons has an architecture that has fallen into love it or hate it due to some unique features. The place is huge, there are old boats for hotel rooms and guests use a bicycle to get around. One thing it does have is is its very own fantastic beach.
The resort has been getting sniped a lot on the reviews for bad maintenance and poor quality of food, but that could be very much a personal opinion…
