Located in Bae Lan, just south of Lonely Beach by about 7 minutes, they not only cook some of the best Thai food on the island they also can teach you how to make it. We think the Happy Turtle is one of the cleanest on the island with a wonderful selection of Thai and western food that is spiced just right and perfect every time. They have a really laid back ambiance with a pool table and a vast selection of movies if you want. Ask Nick about his turtle picture, it will make his day! They have just recently added in some upper-end European coffee makers and ice cream along with a few select bungalows out back.
